On a free saturday, we set out to go and see some earth work pieces in the-middle-of-no-where Utah. The first one was this wooden post installation right next to the Spiral Jetty. I am just now realizing we were too busy filming the Spiral Jetty that we didn’t get any photos. But we got a few of these posts. 
We spent a little too much time at the Spiral Jetty and realized it was possible it might be dark by the time we got to the Sun Tunnels. Dave was driving so fast—literally racing the sun. We got there with just a few magical moments to experience the Sun Tunnels. 
It was late by the time we were done, but we didn’t seem to care what time it was. We stopped in Wendover at 1am to eat the only place we could find—Mcdonald’s. When we were driving, Dave pulled over and asked if I wouldn’t mind driving for a little bit because he was getting sleepy. Almost immediately after I started driving, Dave zonked out for good. I was even BLASTING the music to stay awake…
