Paddleboarding

Dave doesn’t have to work on Juneteenth now and we cherish a good day off in the summer. We decided to bust out our paddle board for the year and enjoy what our Utah backyard has to offer.

The place where we set up our belongings had quite a lot of “pot guts” which are ground squirrels. There were many holes all around us and we’d see them pop up their head and make a very funny sound. Simon had been eating a banana but he left it by our towels to take a ride of the paddle board with Dave. I was sitting on the towels with Elo and a pot gut came up and started eating his banana. I told Simon when he got back and he was verrrry upset and confused that one of those squirrels would steal his food. Eventually he calmed down. Other than that, a nice day on the lake.
