The London Eye

We went to London! I took so many photos and videos, so there will be lots of posts from our trip. We spent quite a bit of money going there and the photos and videos we take are our souvenirs and make it all worth it!

Leading up to the trip, we talked with Simon about all the things we would see and do. We bought several books, checked some out from the library and looked up all the kid videos we could about London. It was so fun to see Simon’s eyes light up as he started to put things together and figure out we were actually in London seeing all the things we had discussed. The top thing he would talk about before the trip and since the trip is the London Eye. It was definitely a highlight for him. In fact, all ferris wheels are the “London Eye” to him now and I can’t seem to get myself to correct him. The first thing we did when we arrived was ride the Eye and point out some landmarks.

There’s a cute park at the bottom of the Eye that we played at for a while. Simon did so well on the flight and adjusting to the timezone. Although we had some pretty low moments on the trip but we’ll try to forget those haha.
