Dave and I are lucky because we share most of our closest friends. I feel bad for couples who have to pretend to like each other’s friends;)
Dave and two of his friends work for the same company and the three of them had go to San Francisco for some meetings. So their wives, a few more friends, and I decided to meet up with them there for an extended weekend. It was also an excuse for all of us to visit Ian and Anna and their newborn triplets in Sacramento.
Ian knew that we were all going to visit them, but it was a complete surprise to Anna. When we arrived in Sacramento, Ian told us they were at a shopping mall so we snuck up on them there. Ian and Anna were walking down a hall of the mall and we came up behind them. Since we were a huge group of suspicious-looking people walking behind a family, a few teenagers started taking out their phones to film whatever they thought we were going to do. Since having triplets, Ian and Anna have noticed many people taking pictures and videos of them, so when Anna saw the teenagers recording her, she turned away to shield one of her babies that was strapped to her chest. She turned around and saw a dozen of her friends standing in front of her. She was so confused!! Imagine going about an ordinary day and then turning around and seeing so many of your friends who live hundreds of miles away. We recorded it all go down and included it in the video above. It’s priceless. 
Seven adults, one dog, and TWO BABIES(to be born)!
We tried to get one of these tilted photos when Dave and I were in San Francisco last June. I think this one turned out better.
