Puerto Vallarta, Mexico | Part 1

Dave and I took our first vacation together without Simon and although we missed that little guy so much it was quite heavenly. We got to finish conversations, eat our hot meals at the same time, and relax at the beach. Babymoons are cool, but we definitely need to make this a yearly thing.

The first night we got there, we had dinner on the rooftop restaurant of our hotel and I immediately felt unworthy. The sunset was really showing off and it just felt so romantic.

The next day we spent a good portion of the day at Conchas Chinas beach. It had mostly locals and was small and secluded. The waves were kind of intense and perhaps maybe I shouldn’t have been out in them, especially at 26 weeks pregnant, but it was the workout I needed lol. Reminder to take swimming lessons…

Like I said, it was a small beach and we were set up almost as far away from the water as we could be, but one big wave came and got all of our stuff wet. Luckily nothing (especially my camera) was damaged and we just chilled more uncomfortably as our stuff dried. No biggy, we were as calm as cucumbers on this trip. However, Dave got fried like a tomato this day. Who’s surprised?

While we waited for our stuff to dry we took pictures of each other and the gorgeous view.
