At 41 weeks + 2 days, simon finally made his way i At 41 weeks + 2 days, simon finally made his way into the world. I was induced and had a very quick, unmedicated labor + delivery. At one point, when we realized it might go faster than we expected, dave went to grab lunch... and left his phone! As the contractions got more intense I kept asking, "Where is dave?!?!" He was only gone for 20-30 minutes, but it felt like forever. When he was walking back a nurse said, "She's gonna be happy to see you, she's transitioning!"

We immediately fell in love with our little boy and soaked up those special moments in the hospital.

Somehow between me, dave, and our moms we were able to capture some photos and videos💙
