On the 24th of July, Dave took the day off so we went to Echo Canyon to go paddle boarding. Simon had been paddle boarding before, but this time he was actually into it. Simon and I went out on the paddle board while Dave practiced his open water swim for his upcoming triathlon. We followed him in the water and he loved watching his papa and cheering him on. We also brought an inflatable tube that he would sit with us in and I was shocked at how much he liked just chilling halfway in the water.
We ate sandwiches, built sand castles and buried his feet in the sand. Core childhood memories!
