One Year Anniversary!

We spent our one year anniversary in Deer Valley at the same hotel we went the weekend after getting married. It was a nice, relaxing weekend where we only spent a brief moment catching up on our work…^^

Notable things we did: saw Thor: Ragnarok, got pedicures, got in the hot tub (even though Dave probably shouldn’t have because of his knee surgery), chillllllled out, and ate tons of food.
He unfortunately spent our anniversary on crutches. Only a week and a half to go! His standing leg is getting quite strong. 

Why do people say the first year of marriage is the hardest? Being married this past year was the most fun and satisfying experience. I’ve been so grateful to have someone to take care of me and someone that I could take care of.

On our anniversary, Dave surprised me with a little video he made. He filmed himself before he was going to ask my dad if he could marry me (he was so nervous, ha!)  and the night before our wedding (he was so excited!). It totally made me cry. Dave had so much confidence in our marriage before we were even married.

Anyway, I said most of the sappy stuff to Dave on our anniversary, so I’ll just leave it with…Happy Anniversary Dave — I love you!
