Bryce Canyon

I have such a travel bug right now! I just realized today we haven’t really traveled for a whole year. First world problems. We were supposed to go to Japan in April, but since everything was and still is pretty much closed we decided to explore our own state. There are 5 national parks in Utah and it’s crazy I haven’t been to them all. Bryce Canyon has been at the top of my list and it did not disappoint.

It was so fun to pack up our car and bust out our camping gear (which had accumulated dust). Dave is the kind of guy who thinks setting up a tent right outside your car is hardly camping (he prefers backpacking). But it’s such a fun, easy, and quick way to get away for the weekend.

On our way home, when we were about half way, all of our car’s dashboard lights came on so we pulled over wondering if we were going to be able to make it home. We helped a guy whose car had broken down on our way to Bryce. That’s not how Karma is supposed to work!? We called our insurance to see if they could tow us home, but it was gonna cost a fortune. So, we decided to just slowly drive home. We took the car into our subaru shop and they said something was wrong with the transmission. It was just over the warranty, but they fixed it for us for free!
