Bo-Kaap, Cape Town

This is a pretty little neighborhood in Cape Town that I honestly should know more about. I remember thinking the history was as colorful as the houses, but I can’t really remember what its history was. Leaving the wikipedia article here for when I have time to go back and read. But, I do know, in these days, it has a majority muslim population.

We went here after we had spent the majority of the day on a boat looking for Great White Sharks to cage dive with. Months leading up to the trip, I told everyone I wasn’t going to cage dive, but a few days before I changed my mind and did it! Unfortunately (or fortunately?) we didn’t find any Great Whites, but we did cage dive with some other sharks. I’ll tell more later..
