Berlin has so much history! Particularly 20th century history because of WWII and the Cold War. Before the trip, Dave and I read (some of) the book Stasiland, which is about real people and their stories from East and West Berlin when the Berlin Wall was up. We had to keep reminding ourselves we were reading true stories and not 1984!

^We stayed in a nice hotel and of course took advantage of the pool and sauna:)
