Simon’s letter to Santa this year:
“Dear Santa,
I have been a really nice boy this year. I help my mama and papa with the laundry and dishes and cleaning. Would you please bring me candy on Christmas? I like chocolate candy and orange candy. I like toys too.

Simon putting this letter in a “Santa Mailbox” Alyson told us about.
And Santa wrote him back!!!! He left the letter right on our front porch.
It might be confusing to write a letter to Santa and see him in real life, but we also went to see Santa at Jolleys with Alyson and her family. We walked into the small room and Santa asked Simon, “Do you want to come sit on my lap?” Simon replied, “I don’t have to.” Haha I’m glad he was setting boundaries but Santa kinda forced him anyway. In the photo above I just see Simon staring at Dave like, “Papa, save me!”
Nice job to the girl who took this photo…. I usually cut off Dave’s head too.
After we went and got some dinner and hot chocolate at the Harmon’s cafe across the street. Fun tradition we’ve done for the past couple of years. 2021 + 2022
