Puerto Vallarta, Mexico | Part 2

Dave was especially happy to be back in Mexico. Speaking Spanish, eating Mexican food and remembering his time living in Mexico. A hurricane had passed through Puerto Vallarta about two weeks prior, but surprisingly most of it had been cleaned up.

Un cocodrilo in the wild at Gringo Gulch^ Took this photo for Simon. Also shortly after we bought him a little Mexican backpack and our baby girl an embroidered dress.

The Church of Our Lady Guadalupe.

We were here right before Dia De Los Muertos so it was fun to see all the decorations. Especially because we had just recently watched Coco with Simon.

26 weeks^

The only photo I got from our snorkeling adventure at Los Arcos in Mismaloya. Unfortunately it was a bumpy bus ride to Mismaloya, choppy boat ride to Los Arcos and I found no relief from my motion sickness bobbing around in the ocean. Not like I love swimming in the ocean to begin with and I plan these sorts of outings for Dave anyways. So you’re welcome, babe. Glad you enjoyed it haha.

I was so hot, tired and needed to pee when we got to this beach and was so close to calling a taxi back to the hotel. But Dave made me stick it out (and pee in the ocean) and I’m glad we did because I enjoyed our time chatting on this beach.

We went home the next morning and unfortunately when we were about to board our second flight my stomach began to feel weird. I didn’t want dinner (which has never happened to me during this pregnancy) and couldn’t figure out what was happening. Sometime on the flight home I realized…. food poisoning. Not fun experiencing that on an airplane or on the drive home from the airport. I used quite a few puke bags. Bummer ending to a fantastic trip.
