A couple days into our trip, my little brother came to join us. That morning before Cort arrived, we hung out near Tower Bridge. Then it started to rain so we found our way into a cafe to watch the coronation live while eating an English breakfast. It was the perfect little rainy morning and definitely a favorite memory from the trip.
We picked up Cort from the airport and immediately drove to Windsor Castle. We weren’t able to see it much because they were preparing for the big coronation celebration happening there the following day. It was still exciting though because many British people were coming in to town to celebrate.
Then we headed to Castle Combe in the Cotswolds. It was first built in the 12th century and is often called the most beautiful village in England. We ate dinner, walked around and honestly were just blown away at how pretty it was.
