One of my favorite days in Puerto Rico was when we rented a car and drove all the way to the west side of the island. Although I will say it was hard to find anything open for some reason and so food was scarce and I may have gotten a little hangry at one point. But on the flip side there we very little people or tourists there so much of our beach time was more private.
We visited Steps Beach in Rincon, Puente de Piedra (the arch in the ocean), Faro Los Morrillos (the lighthouse), Playa Sucia, and a Popeye’s because, like I said, hardly anything was open 😂
These next 4 photos are some special ones for me. They are from Playa Sucia, which I absolutely loved. There was a beautiful sunset and I was on a high from all the good time I had spent with Dave. My initial reaction was to start taking a million photos to document, but to be honest, I was a little burned out from all the photos and videos we had taken that day and the previous few days. I told Dave, “Okay, how about we each get 2 photos. We’ll treat this like a film camera.” So we each took two and this is how they turned out. A jumping one was risky because I could have easily snapped it at the wrong time, but it’s perfect. And my eyes look like I’m just about to blink in the last one, which I would have usually redone. But there is something special about just letting it go and loving the imperfect photo for the memories.
