I keep meaning to post some photos from this summer when we went to Yellowstone and the Tetons with some friends. We started making a video from footage we took there, but still haven’t gotten around to it. So instead of pretending like I’m going to finish that video, I’ll just post the photos so the memory isn’t entirely forgotten.
Dave’s friend Harrison invited us to go to his family’s cabin near the Tetons. I didn’t know anyone else who was going and as much of an introvert as I am, it felt good to be surrounded by strangers (who turned into friends) for a few days. I didn’t realize I haven’t really done that since college.
One day we drove to Yellowstone. Somehow this was my first time and although I didn’t see any bears (safely from a car), I’d give it 5 stars.
We went on a hike to get a good view of the Tetons but this specific trail just ended right here. Like did the trail-making-people just get tired and stop or what?
Across from Harrison’s cabin was a big field that we all ran out to to enjoy the sunset. In times like these with lots of people around, I don’t usually take my camera because I don’t want to be that annoying girl taking a lot of pictures, but I could not resist. And I’m so glad I brought it. It was a fun memory with beautiful pictures to go along with it.
