Filming A Wedding

A few months ago, I was thinking about the wedding I filmed last summer and got the inclination to film another one. I don’t have the type of personality that really likes to advertise myself, in fact, it actually scares me. But after much thought and encouragement from my family and friends, I posted a little something on Facebook with a sample of my footage from last summer. I was able to set up two weddings to film! I was so excited to film them, but I was also suuuuuuper stressed. I was trying to research things that I wanted to get better at and buy new equipment. I even bought a nice camera slider.  Even though I loved the slider, I returned it because it wasn’t quite the setup I would feel comfortable hauling around with at the temple.

Brandon and Kelsey were so easy to work with. They were up to have a camera pointed at them for hours on end, which, in turn, made it easy to edit. I did, however, have a little panic attack when we were at the temple getting some shots of just the two of them and my little red battery icon was flashing in my face. I didn’t have much time in between the Temple and reception to charge my battery, but luckily the employees at The Roof Restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building were nice enough to give me a large glass of water while I charged my battery. I learned a lot from this wedding and I am happy with how the video turned out.
