In January, we went to The Netherlands with Dave’s family, but spent one day in Cologne, Germany meeting up with some of their German friends (Reiner, Crystal, Dominque, and Flo). Shortly after that, we were invited to Reiner’s 60th birthday party in Germany!
These first couple of photos are from the small-town Ladenburg where we stopped on our way from the airport to our hotel. Notice, the date on the building in the photo above. 1581! It always blows my mind how old the buildings are in Europe.
He’s always got to be making some sort of face. Always. Here is a picture of everyone waiting outside to be seated for Reiner’s birthday party in Baden Baden. They really knew h0w to throw a party. There was singing, dancing, food, and games. We stayed at the party until about 2am (That definitely didn’t help with the jet lag). ^it’s apple juice;)
Dave and I walked around the corner from the birthday party to explore for a second. I always find I have way more photos and videos from the beginning of trips…
