Graduation

I finished all of my classes in December, but since there is only a graduation ceremony in the spring, I decided to go back to Logan and walk for graduation. It was good to see some of the people I spent long study hours with. I was reminded of a story that happened my Junior year by some of my friends that were in my Anatomical Kinesiology class. Our professor had a different kind of final than the regular scantron test. We were put in groups of four and each had to come up with a part to discuss for the final. My group had gotten together several times to practice what we were going to say (which was okay according to the professor). My group had practiced to the point that we knew just showing up and performing what we had previously gone over would be a piece of cake. The day of the final came and I woke up to a call from a girl in my group, “Are you coming?” she said. I looked at the clock and I was already 35 minutes late to the final that only lasted one hour. I started to FREAK OUT! I jumped out of bed and grabbed some shoes, forgoing to change out of my pajamas, brush my teeth, comb my hair, and even put on a bra. I ran down the stairs of my apartment while shouting, “can anyone take me to my final?? I was supposed to be there 35 minutes ago!!!” Luckily my angel roommate, Katie dropped everything she was doing and we ran straight for her car. I was shaking the whole way there and she just kept saying, “it’s okay, it’s okay.” We got to campus in record time and I slipped into my classroom. My professor was working with another group and I don’t think she ever saw me walking in late. In short, I was still able to say my part and participate as much as I needed to. Luckily it wasn’t a regular type of final or else I bet I wouldn’t have had time to finish the test. My group just thought it was funny and they weren’t mad. We had gone over everything so much before the final, they knew I wasn’t trying to slack off.  Ugh, just thinking about that story, makes me feel anxious!

I graduated with a major in kinesiology and a minor in art.

Two BYU graduates, two USU graduates, and two U of U graduates.
